Mouse cursor drift

Post by Mickey1 »

If I have a gravis gamepad pro (USB or gameport) attached to the computer the cursor in UT2K4 drifts down and to the left. No drift if I disable joystick in the config. Any solutions? I need my foot pedals. MX500 mouse

if the crosshairs are drifting down to the right when your gamepad is hooked up, I would think that the pad needs to be calibrated.

I had this problem in UT2k4 too, it turned out to be related to the throttle on my JS. If the throttle is not centered, the mouse cursor drifts.

Yours may be similar, for example, it may be a calibration issue as fliptw suggested.

Hope this helps.

Calibration did not help. Atari Technical Support suggested I unplug it and it wont be malfunctioning. Too funny. I'll keep watching the forums. Thanks for the help.

You will need to unplug any joysticks or gamepads attached to your system.
