Scary headlines...

There have been scary headlines from time to time...but these have me worried now. These are increasing in numbers and frequency.

Examples:

Obama is building a new missile shield in Eastern Europe: this time in Romania and Bulgaria

Beijing’s sharply ratchets up anti-U.S. rhetoric after Taiwan announcement

Russia threatens to react to NATO expansion

Syria wants Iranian troops guaranteed for front against Israel

China Reverts to Aggressive Stance in the South China Sea

China circled by chain of US anti-missile systems

Syria warns Israel new Mideast war would be catastrophic – Haaretz

Fundamentally Freund: The winds of Middle East war

All of these stories have appeared in the last 2 - 3 weeks. You can google for them pretty easily.

It could be nothing- but who knows.

You could switch Bush for Obama and for the most part those headlines would mirror those of 5 or 6 years ago.
So nothing new on the horizon but they sure don't make one feel warm and fuzzy...

I thought Obama The Godlike was going to make the world a kinder gentler place.
