Here's my question for that guy. \"How do you spell 'duh?' \" It's so obvious! I guess you could get the updates from another computer that has it and then put it on a flash drive, but... I smell failure.
\"PUT THE BALL INNNNNN!!!!!!\"--What I was screaming on 3/7/09 PD Reunion Monsterball game
Descent 3 Anarchy: \"Just you, your ship, and a whole bunch of weapons to turn your enemies into slag.\"--TopGun

That's not a stupid question at all. The person who gave the answer of \"No, you need internet.\" is the idiot who didn't answer the question properly.
The guy just wants to know where he can download the definition files so he can take them to an offline computer and manually install them. Perfectly good question to ask if the program creators don't make it easy to find.
Besides, there is a whole website for crazy stupid yahoo answers:
http://www.yahooanswerfail.com/

I get dozens of files from my customers via disk, every month.Ferno wrote:xaminder, think about it for a second. why would someone need an antivirus program on a computer that isn't connected to the internet.

Re:
That's why I called it completely worthless. It doesn't offer much in protection and has no manual definition update. Even on its website there is no separate definition updater. Not hard to Google something that easy.Xamindar wrote:That's not a stupid question at all.
