Got a friend who got into 3D modeling and has someone who wants to purchase one of his designs. Any guide lines for pricing?

It can be a few grand or twenty bucks, for a single custom model. Post a picture.
Time/Skill
If he's good then 30 bucks per hour spent on the project. Some people charge much more than that. 12 for a noob is pushing it.
