As will nothing else...

Crysis 2

coming to a planet near you.

;)

man.. I hope the upgrade was enough! This looks tight!

(the title is a play on the story of Crysis; for those who have not played it. archaeologists woke the aliens. ..long story short)

Actually what I hear is that Crysis 2 will be a lot less hardware demanding than the original was (probably because it is easier to render New York city than it is some tropical island jungle turned frozen).

I'm looking forward to this. :)

I'm playing through both Crysis games again right now. Sure it has weaknesses, but on max settings, it's just a gorgeous game.

Hopefully they didn't have to cut back too much to make it playable on the consoles.

That could very well be true. There was a big difference between Crysis and Crysis:Warhead. Warhead runs much smoother performance wise. They streamlined the game play a bit as well. ie. you don't have to actively grab a weapon to gain extra ammo. Sure it was more realistic, but on harder settings, you spent a lot of time running around looking for a gun under 2 feet of brush.

Foil, I play through each about once every month or so. The multi isn't bad either, but there were so many hackers initially, I kinda lost my taste for it. I understand that has since been remedied.

very much looking forward to playing this. Crysis is the one game I feel I have really missed out on. I loved the original Farcry and played it through two times.

Far Cry was fun. Crysis...meh. Pretty graphics, yep- but the substance just wasn't there. (fun that is.)

Of course, nothing beats Descent 3 multiplayer anarchy though. I miss my SLW. :P
