My predictions for the west are as follows:
Avalanche over Sharks in 6.
Red Wings over Flames in 5. I like the flames, but They're gonna be gassed after two games.
Conference Finals:
Avalanche over Red Wings in 7. The Red Wings will rotate Goaltenders at least twice duing this series.
The East? I could care less, any of the remaining 4 West Teams will mulch the East in the Finals.

I say the Flames beat the Red Wings and then the Aves beat the flames.

since the thread title is "go flames", how about I stir some up? :D I wish Mongoose was around -- we always get going about this rivalry...
(I have some great footage of Roy and Osgood duking it out at center ice, for anyone who's interested.)

Powermulched.
Calgary did it to themselves. Penalty after penalty in the third when they were still in it.
San Jose is looking better and better tho.

Let me be the first to say that I'm glad I was wrong about these series...or at least I have been so far. Calgary looks like they got plenty of fight left in em, and Colorado looks downright lethargic.
Ponder Calgary @ San Jose for a West final...HA!

Woah. Anyone see that? Flames were down 2-0 in the second at one point, and 18 seconds later its 2-2.
I was dead wrong about the Flames. DEAD WRONG.

Is this sport??
I know absolutely nothing about sports.
Why am I posting then?
Because, I wanted to know what the subject of this thread was.

Ever use Yahoo's Messenger program? The thing is written in Java, and its so rediculously slow and crashhappy its pathetic.
Anyone who thinks Java is a worthwhile programming language needs to seriously rethink their decision to get into IT.
