I think I was ballin with Ryu and ouch earlier in Skybox today. I was keeping pace with Ryu, but I still didn't beat him.... Yet.
I was trailing behind ouch by about 6-10 points, battling for the lead. I was out for blood, looking to catch up! LEON and ouch had a leg up from the start since I joined late.
Where'd you guys go anyway? I was hoping you'd stick around to the end!

\"PUT THE BALL INNNNNN!!!!!!\"--What I was screaming on 3/7/09 PD Reunion Monsterball game
Descent 3 Anarchy: \"Just you, your ship, and a whole bunch of weapons to turn your enemies into slag.\"--TopGun
Descent 3 Anarchy: \"Just you, your ship, and a whole bunch of weapons to turn your enemies into slag.\"--TopGun
I left because I was tierd, and since I didn't knew when the game was about to end, I just left insted of risking to stay there for one more houre . Should be a kill limit, insted of time limit.
As for you keepin' pace with Ryujin, I would say you have long way to go still. One thing is to keep up with a guy in anarchy packed with people, another thing is when your 1 on 1 with the same guy .
But anyway. GG

OK, the match was a gas. No doubt.
1) I got my ass kicked - credit to Ry and DT.
They tore me up.
2) Props to Thorne, knowing I was no where near the
level required he flew with me anyway
3) If Thorne had a pilot of his level on his team
it would have been much more interesting.
Anyway... Ry and DT ruled Good Games

Had a good 5 to 6 kill streak at one point in the second game, but aside from that Ryu and DT handed us a good beating. Sorry for blocking your way out of the lower weapons room in BI3, at least once, Sickone. I can put up a fight, but I could use more than a little work on my teamwork skills. DT and Ryujin really shine there, and it only hurts them in that you can know with a fair degree of certainty that if you're fighting one the other is about to ambush you.
0-2 In Kataclysmica1.2 and then Burning Indika 3. Both played to 100. Their winning streak remains.
Looking forward to more games in the future!

Newly returning players means new victims for the greatest 2v2 tandem in the History of D3.
Anyone want to take a shot at our 15 (?) game win streak? Honestly I lost count.
Now's the time to take a shot, I play maybe once or twice a month at most Of course I will be happy to come back for some 2v2 goodness.

my my my, I take a 2 year break and a couple players become all confident. I was happy with letting Behemoth reign over all of D3, but this whole 2v2 commotion causes a disturbance in the force that must be corrected. I don't care if Ryu/DT are the best team players ever; any team is beatable.
Give me and Behe 2 weeks to prepare.
Behe + JF vs Ryu + DT
Best of 5 games to 100 points each
east coast server like DRH or Valhalla
10PPS
Team damage off
patch 1.4
Loser of each round picks map, toss up for 1st choice
Remember, God may be merciful to you, but I will not.
I haven't discussed any of this with Behe yet, but I'm sure he's down.
Of course, you've seen how poorly I've been playing recently. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about in the 2v2

Sounds good,
Might need to be 3 weeks though. I have relatives coming into town in a few days and staying with me for about a week and a half.
[edit]
Loser of each round picking maps is fine, but there needs to be an established map pool beforehand. Then I can at least fly through and make sure I know the layouts of any obscure maps.

Re:
Or we could just agree to 5 maps in a logical succession. I would suggest we do the 5 most significant (most played) maps in order by most played to least played. Obviously Indika and Kata would be on there, plus others like Skybox, maybe one of the Fury levels, Athena, one of the Frenzy levels, etc. I forget all the names of popular Descent maps since it has been so long since I last played.Darktalyn1 wrote:2v2 on Indika to 1 point to determine who gets first choice for the games.
We could also do a 2v2 Instareap series to see which team is top for MD.

That way if it includes a level like Athena which I have never actually 2v2'ed on, I can make sure I've at least brushed up on the layout.
You know you're a D3-only player when you're not intimately familiar with the layout of Athena.

Hey, I pre-ordered SC2 too! You should bring it on in a 1v1 SC2 also! I was a platinum league Protoss player when the beta ended.
I'm hanging out with the girl on the 7th from 1pm till 11pm. Then I work 12 hours on Sunday... so Sunday is no good. From the 9th till the 20th, I'll be pretty available.

Nice, it may happen sooner than you'd think since everyone will be obsessed with SC2 for a bitDarktalyn1 wrote:I do, I just started using it a couple weeks ago. My coworkers convinced me to buy a headset + mic
We should definitely try teaming up sometime. ( After Ryu and I destroy you in D3 of course )

DT, friend me in Starcraft 2. I'm Exsedol.Zentradi or daniel.r.lucas at gmail. Currently my rank is Diamond 20 for 1v1. I'm looking for a good 2v2 partner
