Who said compiz was a toy?

So when I press two buttons simulated water spills from my mouse. It's my favorite thing in the world, but it serves no purpose.

Here it is after I fill the screen:

edit: it actually looks less blocky live. Not sure why it looks blocky in this picture.

fun :)

I got your login information for Gmail from that first shot. :P
It's never good to wake up in the shrubs naked, you either got way too drunk, or your azz is a werewolf.

The only thing I found useful in compiz was the zoom feature.

I never really liked it. It didn't get along with my nvidia drivers.

I have a small monitor and I'm able to shrink windows and make them transparent while having them stay on top. This is great if I have to take notes while reading at the same time. Also I many different ways to fan out my windows and compare one with another. This is handy for all kinds of situations. It just depends on what I need.

Yeah the zoom feature can be combined with any of these, so if I fan out windows I can zoom in to them to read what's there since the resolution of the instance isn't lost. Oh yeah, combining the compiz effects is handy. Invert colors+saturate colors+shrink+opacity=a handy way to use notepad, which can be done using a few hot keys.

That is honestly the most used feature for me too. I love how simple it is and it works well. The rest of the features are mostly just fun and can be used to impress friends. But there are some really good advanced features such as the grouping. And I like how it wil turn a "not responding" window black and white.

There used to be a cool screensaver plugin that would initiate random cube rotates and had a few other nice modes such as snow and rain. But it dropped off after the auther lost interest.
Why doesn't it work?
