It's that good? Did they finally do away with the custom borders? Chrome is the only application I have that has the close button in the top right instead of the top left and it is missing the sticky and set above icons that everything else on my system has.

Oh haha, nevermind. There is a setting in options to use system title bar and borders or to hide it. Strange chromium has that option when there are many other options that seem far more important to include.
I find myself using chromium more often now. Firefox is really lagging behind the html5 stuff. Hurry up with firefox 4!
Weird, is that on Ubuntu or Windows? If Ubuntu, it is probably specially modified for Ubuntu. They do that with several programs to make them fit the themes better.
That is the Chromium border on this system, Arch Linux. Looks the same it always has.
It's in ubuntu but this didn't come from the ubuntu repos. The update was delivered through the Google software source. Judging from the URL (it says Linux not Ubuntu) I'd say it's for all Linux users.

I understand the economics behind it and feel it's worth the service. As for spying on me I think it's ok, because nothing I do is illegal or embarrassing. I don't mind being studied for more accurate marketing, which is also something I want.

Seriously though, that is one reason I don't use Chrome that much. Plus it doesn't have the amazing library of addons that Firefox does. I understand Google's main revenue stream is advertising and that's fine. But I do not like being advertised to every second of the day so I have adblock installed in Firefox. People may complain that I am refusing revenue to websites that rely on the adds, but I say it doesn't matter anyway because I am not going to click on the adds if they were there.

As far as plugins on chrome go, I'd rather have a website that works correctly, which can be a javascript web-app, over a browser that has lots of pluggins. Chrome just runs javascript better than Firefox 3 can, at the moment. And also I mostly use Google web apps so Chrome is the best choice for me.
But at least I found the "off" button.
I save energy by not running the AC so cloths are optional.
