I've using 3.5 mini cable (Belkin Pure AV Max bandwidth Shielded....) to listen to my iPod Touch in the car. I'm on my second cable. I have to fiddle with the cable (not where it connects to the port) to get it to work. Had trouble with the first cable also. Seems to be broken inside.
I'm sure it's the cable and not the connection.
Anyway, does anyone know about FM transmitters and would the Griffin take the place of the cable connection?

It will work, but it will not sound nearly as clear as a direct cable connection. Your music will sound like any other FM station if you are fine with that.
Also, does that thing only transmit on 88.1? Not good, you would want multiple station choices in case there is an interfering station on that frequency. There are better transmitters out there.

Why doesn't it work?
