I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with a internal DW1395 4312BG wireless card.
My router is a D-Link DI-624 802_11g Wireless 108Mbps Router.
I also have 3 wired desktops on that router.
If I upgrade my router to an \"N\"
1. Will I get faster speeds on the desktops?
2. I assume, if their available, I'll have to get a new \"N\" card for my laptop if I want to take advantage of the router?
3. If I can replace the card, would the laptop be faster?

I love it.
Short, sweet and to the point.
Thanks for the info.
BTW, why ever upgrade? What would warrant upgrading to \"N\".
BTW-2 I do have FIOS. Getting 12.40 mbps down and 1.88 mpbs up.

if you have FIOS, get a wired connection.

People upgrade for better range or better throughput (but in the case of the latter it is never a substitute for a wire).
