Looking at two machines.
1. Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator HD Video Card
2. 512MB NVIDIA GeForce G310
What's the pros and cons for these?

If you mainly are just using the machine for web surfing and little to no gaming at all then the Intel would just be fine. No reason to spend money on a video card if you not gonna utilize it, also if this is for a laptop, then the machine will use less power on the intel since its not designed for high end performance.

thewolfe, for just casual web browsing, an integrated card usually works great. Even the occasional basic game or to. But the GeForce G310 will blow the Intel card out of the water if you ever have to do anything beyond a basic game. It may even help with HD movie playback, if you watch that sort of thing.
And yes, I realize I just basically repeated captain_twinkie.
