So, how fast can you type? I got 378 before I died. I'm quite ashamed. :(

LOL, i got up to around 150 before I got overwhelmed (an O was moving so fast i thought it was a Q and got hung up on it). I do better at typing full words than single letters anyway.

woot 56. i'm getting better. i only had to look once.

it's weird, it really shows you how much you really do look at the keyboard when typing (if you do at all ;)).

you know where all the letters are, but with some letters it seems to be more of a general location thing, i'm finding i'm often hitting the next letter over in this game, without looking.

typing words is more a "gesture" thing than anything else. you remember the complete gesture before you remember the individual letters, and forced to think about it: argh it's stuffing me up :P

it looks like this
(i have on ocasion converted my qwerty keyboard to dvorak, as you can see here. just use stickers and controlpanel/keyboard/inputlocales/add/unitedstates-dvorak. any computer can do it, you need NO special hardware.)

google will help explain. basically the QWERTY keyboard you are using now is a throwback from the days of typewriters. it was specifically designed to SLOW DOWN YOUR TYPING so that the typewriter doesn't jam.
Dvorak is the original keyboard design, designed to let you type the fastest possible (you'l note all vowels are under your fingers, etc).

117, I stink. I had trouble finding the "b" everytime. It really make you aware of the letters you don't type very often.

Wow, they put everything in this game! What keys do you have to press to make them go away? ;)

I use Dvorak almost all the time. This game doesn't register the Z key here for some obscene reason, so I got about nowhere...
Otherwise I type 95 WPM at 96% accuracy...

Dvorak rules btw ;)

305. Though I think I'm getting hung up much more on prioritizing which letters to type than I am finding the keys. Interesting.

[Edit: sure enough, a little arcade game strategy brings that up to 460. You people with scores in the thousands must have eyes like lightning--I don't think I could simply read the *letters* that fast...]

LOL! I seem to be stuck on 350-380. This might be easier if the letters made words, then I can type 95-101 wpm with 95% accuracy.
