How long does it take Gatorade's or Powerade's minerals to leave your body? I read 90 minutes on another forum.
The reason I ask is I drank one yesterday and wondered about buying another one today. However the day before I only ran 2 miles, which isn't much exercise for me. So I'm guessing lots of those minerals are still in my blood stream today and will expire for the duration of my next run and workout.

Ah! Thank you, though I can't find the answer to my question in that link, this does reconfirm that these sports drinks minerals could be lost in sweat.tunnelcat wrote:MINERAL LOSS IN SWEAT
I eat breakfast cereal every morning! That's probably about eight ounces. Perfect! Thanks!null0010 wrote:Just drink milk. An 8-ounce glass of regular milk contains 349mg potassium, 24mg magnesium, 98mg sodium, and 276mg calcium—all of which are important electrolytes.
