Feedback on the new layout
I liked the other layout that was up an hour or two ago. I liked how you organized the different forums into the categories. The Index now just looks so "busy" like a wall of text. It's time for a change.
I'm having a hard time being able to see who's written what unless I remember their avatars, because the names are so small.
Don't you think you should remove the dead links to Parallax Software and Outrage Entertainment?

Re: Feedback on the new layout
I'll add to this that in the CA Black theme, COMMUNITY is spelled wrong.

Give them time...
The test board was like this too, but changes were made. Now has bigger texts and user names.
This one will too.

I will. I just posted in case someone was making a list.
I love this a lot. Right now I can't decide what theme to use so I'll be here awhile.
What an awesome job you guys did.

If we're voting, I don't like the categories. The less clicks, the better. Also, the less bandwidth for you guys. I'd just get rid of unneeded forums and consolidate the forums a lot more.
Great job though!

(Although the theme is likely a sample that came with the new forum version, the WOW theme can go die in a fire.)
I'm using DescentBB_D3 right now, and the sizes of message text, usernames, post information (date posted, etc.) could all use a boosting.

Plus we should have visible dividing lines between posts and user names.
Prepare for DESCENT!

Re: Feedback on the new layout
I was away and only intended to release the DescentBB theme, the others I haven't had time to get back to.d3jake wrote:(Although the theme is likely a sample that came with the new forum version, the WOW theme can go die in a fire.)

The DescentBB theme though should have looked like this ... I am thinking I gave Krom the wrong version, tonight I will upload the correct version of the DescentBB theme.
I might take down DescentBB_green and Descent_D3 until I get a chance to updated them based on all the changes I made last night and this morning to the DescentBB them based on Jeff font size concerns.
I attached an image to show what it should have looked like for the roll out today.
Everyone please make sure you tell me which theme and browser you are using when you report an issue. We have several theme and for me to fix it I need to know which one and what browser is having a problem.
Please bear with me. I will fix what I can as soon as I can
Priorities.
1 DescentBB theme
2 DescentBB_Green theme
3 DescentBB_D3, D2 and D1 will all be the same but each will have the Pyro from the game in the background.
4 Update other themes with DBB Logos
In the image below you can see the topics have dividing lines, the Code and Quote boxes have different color frames. green and yellow/gold.

Re: Feedback on the new layout
New posts since last visit is dependent on the search system to work and we disabled search because it is still broken, that is why the various recent posts/activity links are gone.
