So what are your few best games of 2010?

Here are the best games I've ever played of 2010:
-Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty
-Worms Reloaded
-Transfomers: War For Cybertron (I won't tolerate complaints about this game being a Movie Tie-in, It's totally the Prelude to the first episode of The Transformers (Generation 1)
-Alien Swarm

Hmmm. Apparently I haven't played any games that were released in 2010.

I haven't either... yet. I can't buy games off of platforms like Steam (I don't have a credit card or any way to get one and they don't accept non-instant payments) so that can severely limit my choices (EB Games doesn't carry many PC games, no matter what the employees tell you). There are some 2010 games that I'd love to try, but I can't because I don't have the console.

The Humble Indie Bundle II (http://www.humblebundle.com/ ) also had a few nice ones. Braid is excellent. Mechanarium is cute. Revenge of the Titans is interesting, though still in beta. Bundle I, while also quite good, was not 2010.

Tried minecraft for a total of five minutes and I don't really get it... Maybe it's suppose to tap into ones desire to build, but I have Blender, a garage full of tools, and programming languages to satisfy those needs...

i purchased starcraft 2 but for one reason or another i just can't get into it. i guess you either love it or you don't.

That's pretty much it. Once you're already accustomed to decent modelling tools, and assuming you don't feel like a change of pace just for kicks, there's nowhere near as much to get out of Minecraft. Myself, I might as well go build Descent levels if I were after such a thing.

. . . and oh, there are so many people who wish I would.

For me it was Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition. You need a Windows Live account to even save game (pushing their stupid cloud BS), and I didn't have or want one so I stayed up into the night playing through what was probably about 70% of the game, until I got stuck trying to gather enough plant spores down in Killer Croc's lair. Beat my head against that for at least an hour before I gave up, unable to find enough, and went to bed. Really an awesome game. I suspect sleep deprivation augmented the parts of the game having to do with the Scarecrow, that actually took a little bit of resolve to deal with. They got a lot of important things right with that game, IMO.

A couple of 2010 games I've got:

Sniper Ghost Warrior (Love that slow mo bullet to the head sequence when one performs a head shot)

Aliens vs Predator ( I wanted to check out what a DX 11 game looked like on my system, and it looks good!)
