Walk and text in the mall?

What is really annoying is there is a boyfriend/girlfriend in our class who sit in the back and chat and giggle. They seem like they get it (like this is just for the credit, and they already know the content), but geez, shut up for the rest of us.

yeah, but that raises a different issue. If all the tests are completely based on the book and posted assignments, why force people to come to class? Note that I show up to all my classes whether attendance is counted or not, but I'd rather those gigglers not attend.

People aren't forced to attend class anymore in my world. We are free to skip lectures.

I always sit as close to the "front" of the class as possible to distance myself from slackers and troublemakers. Oh geez I'm starting to sound like Strickland now.
