Interesting read for anyone who enjoys Half Life 2 and the source code that was leaked many years ago.

Very interesting read.

Sad to think that it was that easy to sneak in and steal the "source code" to the "source engine" before Half Life's 2 release.

That is quite an interesting article, and I know this may be a little off-topic but a few years back I came across a demo program that would search out unprotected computers.I could not believe how many computers had absolutely NO security!!If I had been so inclined,I could have destroyed a good many peoples computer lives. After one search I quickly deleted the program. It was certainly an eye opener about the importance of good security.I know nothing about hacking and am glad of it:)

If you have a laptop, you can scan for networks and find so many that are unprotected. Then if you choose, you can try to check what files they are sharing and steal anything. I did that once but only copied files for Diablo 2 character.

I watched a guy remote into a bank, rewrite a insecure wireless printers flash, and upload a script to one of the workstations, just to prove how insecure they were.
