Will they be back up?

Post by Gremalcon »

I have been looking for the interplay forums to come back but they have been down for a couple weeks now. Does anyone know if they are even going to be back? Has interplay or anyone from interplay said anything about it?

Surely you jest?

Interplay is, essentially, defunct.

Good riddance to them. May Interplay forever burn for what they've done to the fans.

Have they stabbed your mother or what?
Your statement is exagerated.

Well, when Robin was alive, interplay was a really cool company. It really was by and for gamers. Since his death several years ago, they turned big time away from gamers and toward pure corporate greed. However, I still like their forums, because you can get some good answer there.

For those of you who don't know, Robin was the BMOC at interplay. He partied with gamers, he knew a lot of the regular customers in person and many more on a first name basis because he was a friend to all real gamers.

Didn't he die in a motorcycle crash after the release of D2?

Die.

Post them here. I'm too lazy to check PD on a regular basis. Especially since BlueFlames isnt writing the soupe anymore.

After what Interplay did to ruin Klingon Academy by firing the team without fixing up the game, I say no mercy. That and the crappy games that they released.

On another point, the less number of parties involved in the ownership of the Descent series, the more likely something will be done about it (even though chances are slim).

I hope they trip and fall, and fall hard. Good riddance.
