This is complete BS. I think CNN got free apple stuff for writing up this "article."
Mac vs. PC: The stereotypes may be true
(CNN) -- Remember those Apple ads that cast the Mac as a 20-something, self-satisfied hipster while the PC was portrayed by an older, square-looking guy in a brown suit?
Well, those characterizations, unfair as they may be, appear to have some truth to them.
If anything, it was the "hip" kid that built his own PC, dragged it to lan parties and 'tricked it out' with strange case mods.
The mac user was the chubby yuppie guy at the store that looked down his nose at PCs and always liked to mention the 'superior stability' and graphics of his mac G-5 whatever. LOL
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Linux and windows and others (too many to mention) = PC
PC > Mac by infinity.
Linux/mac story from last week:
My teacher wanted to illustrate something so he asked us what OS we ran.
He pointed at my laptop and asked, "Windows Vista? or Xp?" I answered, "Ubuntu".
My teacher scrunched his face at me, still pointing at my laptop as if frozen, then clarified what he meant by operating system. I then replied cautiously, trying not to sound condescending, "I'm running an OS called Linux." He said, "Ohhh... You're running Apples?" I put my hands up trying to draw a penguin and said, "uh.. oh no! It's a penguin." I looked like an idiot. He turned away when I said penguin... he probably was thinking, "he just said penguin at me... crazy weirdo.."
