whats that noise in Dallas?????

Post by CUDA »

It's the sound of the Basketball lodged in their throats after the monolithic choke in game 4

Brandon Roy you are a stud

GO Blazers

Blazers might be the next team I root for, since the Nuggets appear to be on their way out.

Ya, I'm kinda bummed about Denver I was hopeful they'd beat OKC. being a Blazer Fan I just have to hate the (Sonics) Thunder

I'm originally from OKC (moved out before they got the Thunder)... but I can't root for them, not now. :P

I'd also love to see the Hornets finish the Lakers.

I'm torn on that series. Assuming we make it past Dallas. then we'd play the winner of that one. Portland ALWAYS gives LA fits in both PDX and LA. but has problems with the quick guards like Paul and are 1-3 against the Hornets this year, but I'm liking that fact that so far the top 3 seeds in the west are in trouble and "could" fall. BUT there is still a lot of B-Ball to play yet.

Saw the game, wasn't impressed by either performance. Over all, rather sloppy game. WAY too many opportunities missed.

I dont get why people even give a damn about the NBA anymore.

If you want to talk about a real choke job, talk about the Blackhawks tying their series with the Canucks at 3 a piece after the Canucks had a 3-0 lead and their goalie, the overhyped Luongo, coughed up the game in the next 3. He didn't even start game 6. He wasn't even on the bench. He was in the locker room the whole game praying he wouldn't get the call. The Canucks are going to choke, in historical fashion on Wednesday.

Wednesday nights game 7 is going to be much more entertaining, in a single game, than the entirety of the NBA season and its associated playoffs, combined.

Basketball SUCKS.

Avder, next time you want to bash basketball, that's fine, but please do it elsewhere.

I think hockey is less entertaining than bowling, but you won't find me bashing the NHL in Snoopy's thread. Please show the same courtesy.

Okay. With that said, GO NUGGETS!

I was at that game last night. Man, there is nothing like the atmosphere of NBA Playoffs. :D

Foil, yesterdays and the one before that (now).

Only about 1/4 of the shots put up were hitting anything and a number of those were rebounds.

I'm not a huge fan of basketball (watching it at any rate). So when guys are getting payed the money THEY are? They should be hitting more baskets. ;)

I'm not really a basketball fan in general, but I was glad to see the Sixers take at least one from the Heat. I don't expect them to win back in Miami, but they've given the Heat a good fight as a whole.

(Maaaan, I don't know how anyone can think that something as spectacular as playoff hockey is inferior to watching overpaid thugs play glorified 1-on-1. But to each their own, I guess.)
