I know you aren't asking for links after you refused to provide links. Is that a little bit hypocritical of you.
BS. I provided many links to obscure stuff, I just didn't link commonly available info.
You also didn't provide links to sources you selectively quoted leaving out the paragraph that was 100% contrary to the position you were trying to take! So I call your BS and raise you three truck loads of elephant poo!

It is "commonly available" go look through it. In a nutshell Dennis Hastert was given use of a small private jet after 9/11 because Bush decided the 3rd in line to the Presidency should share the protective layer he did. When Nancy took the Speakers job she said she needed a bigger plane because the one Hastert used couldn't make it to her home without having to stop to refuel if they encountered headwinds on the trip. Ohhh poor baby. But once she got her bigger plane that wasn't enough, she started calling for the plane to pick up her children to "do speaker of the house business" including trips to get her grandchildren to and from places so she could see them! She racked up god knows how many trips and she only has to re-emburse the airforce the equivalent of a coach ticket on a commercial airline where her plane costs probably $10,000 an HOUR for the taxpayer to provide her.

The new Speaker supposedly flies commercial airlines...but I'm not impressed with gestures. If he brought legislation to the floor that recinded all this largess they provide themselves at our expense I'd be impressed, until then meh!

My point is all this is not just "legal" in the minds of the elite congress they will tell you it is for the good of the country for them to have all sorts of privileges like that!
Like I said, abuse.
They take the undefined general welfare clause as carte blanche to consume tax revenue. It's like a loophole in morality and ethics for them to justify and excuse their embezzlement of our revenue stream that we hired them to use to manage our country!!
They don't just take the revenue and spend it on bad ideas, they take it and CONSUME a large percentage of it like pimps celebrating their lofty positions with every dollar they redistribute they take a cut to buy and enjoy their place of power.

And far too many fools buy into the demagoguery of either the R's or D's who have been doing this without challenge for so long they now operate with no shame or fear at all and simply scoff at us and tell us things like We need to pass the bill so you can see what's in it" when we ask what is in the legislation they say is an emergency measure. WTF?!?!?
You can't survive very long if you condone that mindset/attitude in your employees!

I'm waiting to see pics of Pelosi's grand kids getting groped by a TSA pervert And to think how much she bitched at corporate executives for using corp. jets to fly in.

Oh, my bad, she is charged a coach ticket price, roughly $250 to have a large private jet plane staffed by Air Force personnel pick up her family and fly them back and forth from family reunions and vacations and since she has her staff declare it is "Speaker of the House business" when they make the request it gets done. But it isn't "free" you are correct, assuming she actually pays that bill...
But do you really want to take this loophole out of addressing the point I raised?!? Are you just a dem hack who is not the least bit interested in discussing the issue only interested in winning the soundbite contest? If so go play with Sean Hannity, he's your counterpart if that's your calling. You knew exactly what my point was.

They are abusing their authority big time, whether they pay the token $250 on the $10,000 AN HOUR flight or not!! there, now do you get it?

actually, my point was that Pelosi just did what others in the same position have done. Many have been far worse about the sense of personal entitlement. Bringing her up here, Will, just seemed to be tangental to the discussion.....

I didn't bring her up as the subject of my point, that was an inference born of your own thought process!
I brought up an example of the way they abuse their loosely defined authority to embezzle our revenue for their own gain. You jerked your knee out of socket because she's a democrat and that sent you off on a tangent...the tangent of defending the indefensible instead of recognizing the point was on topic and not about her but about them as in politicians abusing the intention of the General Welfare clause and other provisions like it!

Take off your democrat party cap and put on a thinking cap...
