Shall we say this was the day that Obama signed on the dotted line to start a regional war- far worse than the conflicts we see today and one that will spread and take more lives than we ever imagined?
Obama says Palestine must be based in 1967 borders
There has already been a push by Assad/Iran to start something this year- they sent 'martyrs' to breach Israel on three borders on Sunday the 15th. Another push is expected June 5th.
There is a movement to get a palestinian state created and recognized in the UN this September.
The step Obama took today will merely push Israel further into a corner, emboldening its enemies and creating conditions for a war that won't stop...it will keep going all the way to the Pakistani/Chinese border to the east, Egypt to the west, Turkey to the north and Yemen to the south.
Heaven help us if Syria decides to use chem weapons in desperation. We all know what would happen next.

It's no secret that Zionists and Muslims hate each other and the Jews are the minority there. To think of their extermination is no stretch these days, now 2000 years ago......................................................................

(slick raises hand and yells, "ooh, ooh, I can answer!")
Pretty much a variation of the same thing that happens every year on that date......it is called the Day of Catastrophe among the Arab peoples of the region, specifically the millions who were displaced by the creation of the state of Israel.

All that sticks out in my mind that every peace accord brokered by various entities, it was Hamas and the Palestinians who broke it by lobbing missiles into Israel.
Estimates of the number of Arabs who fled the newly-created State of Israel in 1948 (i.e. from the area inside Israel's pre-1967 borders) vary from 430,000 to 957,000, depending on who you ask. The most reliable figure appears to be 539,000
doesn't seem like Millions and its sure allot more than 60-100K

AH your claiming interest, then I'm claiming the Arabs are responsible for the death and displacement of billions of Jews over the centuries. interest and all.

yet, the two groups lived in overall peace for centuries, over a millenium in fact. Sure, upheavals and turf struggles marked the time, as it will within all lands, but Jews, Muslim and Christian Arabs all coexisted in the region. Europeans did far more to displace and certainly slaughter the Jewish people than all the centuries in the Middle East combined.

isn't that whats going on now? a Turf struggle?
Those that want to solely or mostly blame Israel are Ignorant, those that want to dismiss Israel's part in this are Naive. this is not Palestinian Territory. it never has been. the Area was Jewish land until the Romans sacked Jerusalem in 70 AD and kicked out the Jews. around that time they started calling the area Palestinia. and in the 2000 years since then it has been ruled by the "Palestinians" for less than 50 years. it has ALWAYS been under some other powers control. Israel didn't steal the land. it was theirs for 1300 years before the Romans kicked them out. then the British and the UN gave it back to them in 1948. plus the Jews had already purchased about 13% of the land called Israel before then anyways, and to this day 80% of the Jews in Israel still live on that 13% of Purchased land. land that by the way the Arabs considered worthless until the Jews came in and made something out of it. you think there are troubles now. wait until the Jews find a way to start mining the oil found there.
