Beijing has advised Washington to respect Pakistan's sovereignty and solidarity and this was formally conveyed to the United States at last week's China-US strategic dialogue and economic talks.
It is interesting how a new eastern bloc has been rising and aligning itself- not overtly at first, but now with due haste.
China is also seen building military logistical infrastructure both on its borders with India and within Pakistan.
