Well, this is outdated (very) so I will do a quick update.
Downloads are now at our souceforge page

There are two parts. The container and the data.
Container:
An exe that can be run on modern windows computers. Some people report success in windows emulator. Eventually I will add other binaries for other operating systems. You will also need to download the data to use the container.
Data:
This is the sound, texture and game information required to play the game. Simply extract the data into the same folder as the exe (so that defender.exe is in the same folder as defender.blend).


If you have blender then you will not need the container, the data is enough

Just outlining changes made in each version.

March 22:
First upload, includes the ship, a huge cube based level and two plasma bots.

March 23:
Small update, not sure what it was

April 4:
Updated to new level. Removed Plasma bots and added in the two new original bots.
Does not work, due to needing a file I forgot to include. I will fix this soon

May 9:
Same level as April 4, but it actually works.
Ship chooser and some other things implemented

There is a new way to get the game. It will allow me to release updates more regularily.

1) Download the Container:
This contains the menu only.
(Last update was 24th May 2011)

2) Download the Data Files:
Contains textures and the blend files
(Last update was 24th May 2011)

You then unzip the two into the same folder, and then you can run the exe.

If you only download the Container, you will not have the game, or the textures for the menu, etc.
If you only download the data files you will need blender to play it.
