I'm laughing so hard:
"President Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron kick off two days of diplomacy this morning by pledging to work against repressive regimes in the Middle East -- by force if necessary.
In a sternly worded column in The Times of London, the two leaders liken the effort to free Arab people from authoritarianism to the Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall in the 1980s.
They liken their personal efforts to two leaders who came before them: Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher."
Oh god, comparing themselves to the biggest conservative hard noses in half a century is so......
Ahahahahahahahahahahaaaa...I think I just broke something in my side.

You're right. Obama's policies are nothing like Reagan's. Obama doesn't arm revolutionaries or negotiate with terrorists or provide amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.

You're such a twerp, null.
That's not funny, that's sickening. God... doesn't anyone tell the truth anymore? These men don't give a ★■◆● about the Arab people (an assumption about the British PM, but I know Obama doesn't), and they bear no resemblance to those two great visionaries.

Or brought us the that little pipsqueak fluffy war called the "Invasion of Grenada" and who ignored the building AIDS crisis until it became too messy to hide under the carpet.
Every President has their warts and follies. You're conveniently forgetting those that Reagan owned woodchip and Sergeant Thorne.

You gotta admit, though, it is pretty funny when Obama -- a guy both the left and the right thought would be very left -- compares himself to Reagan. The people who think Reagan is a hero hate to hear it, and the people who think Obama is a hero hate to hear it too.

I think it's an apt comparison.Lothar wrote:You gotta admit, though, it is pretty funny when Obama -- a guy both the left and the right thought would be very left -- compares himself to Reagan.
