Not sure if this has enough structure to be playable; it could be too random.
Rules: Post a character that would defeat the character that the last user posted on a 1v1. Give a short explanation why your character won.

Batman
Beats nobody because nobody posted before me. Batman wins.

Alfred hits Bruce Wayne in the head with the candlestick in the library killing him. Batman loses. So the butler did it.

Frank Columbo solves the mystery of Bruce Wayne's murder and runs Alfred in (R.I.P. Peter Falk)

[Isaac]

Ironman, looking for Batman, shoots into Wayne manor, accidentally killing Frank Columbo. Ironman, upon realizing his mistake, attempts to flee the scene.

[Krom]

Meanwhile Superman who was on his morning jog accidentally crashes into the fleeing Ironman, crushing him like a soda can under a steam roller.

[Heretic]

Meanwhile unbeknownst to anyone Robin finds the Kryptonite ring and clothes line Superman across his throat while he was jogging snapping Superman's neck killing him.

[Avder]

Adrian Monk is in town and gives the Gotham City PD a help finding out who killed Superman, getting poor Robin convicted with the two strands of cape thread he forgot to clean up from the scene of the crime.

[Isaac]

Harold Krenshaw, Adrian Monk's nemesis, drops an anvil on Monk from a hot air balloon, effectively rending Monk stupid and confused.
