Portal
Well, after years I've finally finished the original Portal game. I had always been stuck on level 18 where you have to go non stop through portals to get higher and higher and then on an angle. It was the last section of the level. Then I started on level 19. Wow, talk about a long level. I just finished it about 5 minutes ago and I can't wait to buy Portal 2. Just need the $$$

Re: Portal
Yeah, that level was a real booger. Took me about 6 tries before I got it.

Re: Portal
I had to reload from the bottom part of that level about 50 times before I got it. I ended up stopping on the last platform before the angled one and then jumped off to the lower one to get my to the end. Made me happy.

Re: Portal
Try the advanced version of that map, all the platforms fall away as you go so you have to hit the next portal perfectly the first time every time.
The trick is to look into the portal you are falling into so you don't get disoriented as you come through it, then you will have time to spot and shoot the next portal before you fall back. Also that puzzle is borderline impossible if you don't have the "portal funnel" setting on (it defaults to enabled, and it makes the game a lot easier and a lot more fun).

Re: Portal
Portal 2 is 49$ here so I'll have to wait for a bit before I can afford it. But yes, I've wanted it since I knew it was coming out.

Re: Portal
It's awesome. I'm on chapter 3 with the sun walks or whatever you call them. Gladius is funny as hell.

Re: Portal
Well, I finished the game tonight. It's awesome. Haven't tried co-op but not sure I will. Will try custom maps later.
