"Proxy server is refusing connections"

I was playing around with Hamachi and then disable it. All was good until I remembered I was using Open DNS before I tried Hamachi, so I went into Local Area Connection/Properties/TCP/IPv4 and changed "Use the following DNS...and added 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220

Now I get the "refusing connections" message although I can get on a couple of sites like Google, Hotmail...

I have gone back to my original setting but still get the error message.

Where do I go from here.

More info: I just discovered that it going to https sites and not unsecured sites.

Well you leave me alone long enough and I might just stumble on it.

In the Internet Options/Advance/Connection/Network - "Manual proxy configuration" was "ticked" I set it to "Use system proxy settings and all is well.
