SO. Oregon Lan Hosted By SQN

SQN is happy to announce that we will be hosting another Lan This summer.
Right now it is still in the planning stages, But it will happen.
This will be a small lan (15 to 20 peeps)and will be held in Central point, Oregon(near Medford).

The venue we have atm is Rovers Garage.It is insulated and climate controlled so weather wont be a problem.
It also has more than enough outlets for our needs.
This will be a multi game Lan,But D3 will be the Featured game with Halo, Diablo 2, and whatever the attendees would like to see played.
There will be no prizes or Official Tourneys.
we are just wanting to have a fun weekend.
dinner will be provided both Friday and saturday(I Might throw a BBQ saturday featuring some of the best Pork youve ever eaten).

Lunch will either be fend for your self or a cold cut fix it yourself deal, Breakfast will be up to you to forage for.
The charge will be only 15 paper washingtons payable at the door ( saves on headaches this way)
This will cover the food for the weekend and help Rover out on the electric a lil.

We are shooting for an August date. Right now the first weekend or maybe the last weekend looks like the best, But we want your input on best for you.
Sign ups will open in a week or so. The only early bird sign ups will be peeps runnin it.

Anyhoo, as we get moreof the plan nailed down I'll post it here.
All in all its gonna be as much fun we can have in a weekend without getting Arrested.
First we need your feedback tho. so get typing!

I'd really like to make it since I haven't seen you SQN guys in quite a while. My summer schedule is pretty hard to nail down; I may be moving outta state at some point. But if I'm lucky I'll get to stay in Portland and come down for the LAN. I play both Halo and Diablo2, and heck maybe I'll even play some D3.

were gonna have a blast guys as long as we dont git too wild. So i decided that there better be a list of rules ta keep out the serious riff raffs and keep this lan as orderly as possible.

1. no painting Hatts llama rainbow colors.. i know its tempting but we jus cant.
2. no chasing the cows yelling "moo"
3. no chasing Gonzo yelling "moo"
4. you MUST have a good time, relax and have a crapload of fun.

I'm working on getting local Motel info for y'all, and will soon be posting the "Official" Lan sign up post.

I'm thinking about the possibility of offering a lift, depending on what I need to be doing that weekend and whether I'll be completely burned out from being on the road the first 2 weeks of August (including attending the Chicago LAN.) Give me a weekend to think about it.

fusion, sure, we'll drive you -- provided your computer fits in our car (see this thread for a picture.) If you have a big huge server tower or something, we might have to strap it to the roof ;)

Lothar, Gr.(pron junior) is a Mac G4 computer tower. You can see a pic of him here:

The pics are slightly outa date, since I have switched to an LCD monitor, and some slight alterations inside of the box. My flight mode has also changed as well, hardware wise. But should have no probs for space in ur rig. I packed Gr and gear into 2 boxes and a bag for Lan at VON Klay's place, so shouldn't be any probs. Thx for the offer and being willing to do so.

Now to tell the Parents.
