Pass this Bill!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by flip »

Lol, well it's official. I saw it with my own eyes just today:P Obama is a one trick pony with his rallying cries of "Pass this Bill." To the point of ridicule. I think he did us a favor. With his initial and resoundingly successful cries of "Hope and Change", he also woke up a huge portion of the population that are actually scrutinizing this guys and his partners ideals.

That what happens when you promise everyone the moon and then don't deliver on that promise, or really even try to fight for it in the first place.

That's what happens when there's an empty suit as president.

From a broader perspective, that's what happens when you accept the premise that you must choose your representation from one of the two choices put forth by the parent company, the fraternity of the self declared elite.

Imagine high school where you decided to give the popular clique of kids the power to control the security guards/police, the curriculum/teachers and your wallet.
Then you argue among yourselves how everything bad that happens as a result of giving that control away so foolishly is simply the fault of those of you who voted for the 'wrong choice' of Prom Queen and King from within that fraternity of popular kids.

The most meaningful and powerful vote any American could cast would be one that rejects the fraternity instead of one that enables and perpetuates it.

The 2 big mistakes Obama made was not fighting hard enough for those principles he promised everyone in the first place, and being uncreative himself and sticking with Bill Clinton's stale and rehashed playbook for ideas.

If there is another choice in the next election, I'll take it. Right now, there are no other choices.

He couldn't possibly deliver some of what you think he should deliver, no one could, and he didn't try at all to deliver a lot of what he offered up to get the nomination and it sure looks like he never intended to try..."post partisan President", "transparent administration", "put every Bill up for 72 hours for all to read before letting a vote be called", 'heal the racial divisions instead of playing up the race card for political advantage'...the list is very long. He is not the person you seem to think he is if you think his only failure was to not try harder to accomplish his goals. He's accomplished a great deal of his core agenda and that core includes lying to you to get your vote.

When you say "another choice in the next election" you aren't talking about a rejection of The Fraternity that maintains this dysfunctional nightmare our representation has evolved into so what ever "choice" you think you might want, it won't be a solution it will be a perpetuation of the same old crap that you are complaining about.

The "other choice" I'm talking about, the one that could really shake things up and break their backs is always available to us but until enough people living on one of the Big Two's voter plantations realize that and run for freedom it won't happen.

You pontificate on and on about "other choices", but I sure don't see any right now. We either have "The Fraternity" or "The Wackos". I don't like either selection. I might just pick "None of the above".

By the way, Obama didn't play the "race card". The tea partiers and Republicans have done that ad nauseum to the point it's no longer opaque. And if Obama had a little more of JFK's resolve and notion to hardball his opponents, aka, "blackmail the opposition" abilities, we'd have seen a lot more progress in Obama's favor. But alas, a wuss is a wuss.

"The Fraternity" as I called them is the whole of the big two parties. You don't pay attention worth a crap...which is why you have exactly the representation that you deserve.
Any vote that rejects the fraternity is a good vote no matter which way you normally lean, left or right, because their feigned efforts to actually achieve anything for the "left" and "right" is nothing but a marketing ploy for the fraternity relative to their corrupt and destructive work towards their own self interest of building power, prestige and wealth for themselves and their fellow frat brothers and sisters. That is what you perpetuate and support by voting for either their R or D brand of bull★■◆●.

Vote ANYTHING BUT and tell them why! That will get us change. Vote for them if you want more of the same old ★■◆●.

I've commented before that in order to bust up the major parties it is all but necessary to elect a few "wackos". And honestly, once you get a mainstream candidate away from their parties coaching, staging and teleprompters; they all start appearing to be lunatics escaped from some insane asylum too. So since they are all lunatics anyway, might as well at least vote for the independent/non-partisan ones.

The problem is, some of those that appear to be independent wackos are really stealth shills for the Republican Fraternity, just wolves in sheep's clothing. We'd be getting more of the same Oligarch-enabling policies we have now. The rest of the wackos I wouldn't want flying the plane, no matter how bad the current pilot is doing at it. Crashing the plane just to send a message is crazy. :P

If a viable independent that isn't a certifiable loon steps up to the plate, I will vote for him or her. I'm not so hot on re-electing Obama.

Two things, one, you aren't going to elect a winner and that isn't the immediate goal of voting for 'anyone but the two', at least not in the first couple of cycles that people start doing this. You will force change upon the two party's though when they see why they are bleeding out supporters...
And the second thing is, you don't have to vote for one of the alleged "stealth shills"...vote for the Lesbians for Free and Sensible Shoes party....vote for the Green Party...just be sure to tell your congressmen and party rep's that you did that specifically because of the way the two big party's have turned our representative republic and capital into their own personal country club and mint. Focus on the underlying corruption and incestuous network they represent not left/right issues. It is the very process they use to ruin our representation they are being fired for not their so called policy. As you have seen, people with the right policy in mind get in office time after time and then turn into Frat Brothers/Sisters.

I was hoping the republicans were a little smarter. I don't know if they realize it yet, but they are beating a dead horse. They should meet him on his bill and help pass it. Otherwise, they give him exactly what he wants with this tar baby. No one is gonna disagree that everyone should be taxed equally, especially when still under these tax cuts, unemployment is rising. The present tax cuts are doing nothing to create jobs anyways. If they have any sense at all, they will stop this class warfare ★■◆● immediately, or they could possibly ensure another 4 years of someone who's core belief is in government and will continue to pump cash into an ever increasing bureaucracy.
