If you are looking for people to review your video (in your case, a song), I would recommend posting it in the Community Cafe, with a good title and a little description, not just the link.

Granted; locking a thread because it has a youtube video (that wasn't a rickroll or some other troll) is pretty stupid obnoxious.

some people stare at it, not knowing what to do because it doesn't say what to do - which is the problem with your first post you linked Isaac - you are not asking for any feedback. You could be simply wanting more views for your video rather than feedback the way you worded it.

Ok, that actually make sense to me. But I did want advice on using the popular linux muisc writing application. I suppose if I ever post something again on Ubuntu forums it will start with a long story about how i wrote what and how. Version numbers etc... It's kinda silly, but if that's what they want. Oh well.

Yeah, snoopy. In the past I've tested mod's patients on the descent forums. Even banned. Over there, I don't even try to get in trouble and they lock/remove my threads all the time. I was even suspended a week for being sarcastic.

In my experience, the DBB is a bit of an enigma. Most people are there for a reason and don't want to be bothered with things that don't relate closely enough.
