Driver for mouse and keyboard combo

Post by thewolfe »

Some one gave me a Gigaware 26-985 keyboard and mouse (http://snipurl.com/10qv7m). Trying to use it with Win 7 at this point.

I'm looking for a driver. I've look all over Google and Driversguide. The combo would come in handy for my test computer.....

No big deal but just wondering if I missed a site.

It's wireless and "way" old.....or maybe it doesn't need a driver, they just don't work, although I know they did work for the original owner using XP.

You'll know if it's a driver issue if windows recognizes it, but can't get it to work. Check your device manager for unrecognized devices, or for devices that are mis labeled. Zebra thermal printers are notorious for this.

Like fliptw said though, it's USB - all Plug n play.

Recognizes the mouse but not the keyboard now. No unrecognized devices so....must be the keyboard. New batteries. "Nuff" time spent on this, eyh?

Tried it one more time and the keyboard worked. We'll see if it works tomorrow. It's still enough.

Thanks for the post.
