Or to keep us aware of what Muslims are capable of. While the Westboro Christians certainly do despicable acts, last I checked they never strapped a bomb to themselves, beheaded anyone, stoned people to death or made death threats to those who disagree with them. I don't think TB wants us to hate Muslims, rather just be aware of what they are doing.

Anyone can be an extremist. It doesn't matter how they go about it. It doesn't matter if they strap a bomb to themselves, load a van up with ANFO, go to a clocktower and shoot thirty two people... an extremist is an extremist. The religion is irrelevant.

Except by and large with Islamno-extremists religion is relevant. Last I heard the clock tower/Richard Speck/Timothy McVeigh killers were not shouting "God is Great" while they did their deed.

does it matter? does it really matter what the motivation is? a person has to be insane to do ANY of this stuff. period.
