This is good news for me. I hate Flash. Can't wait for HTML5 to be the standard. I think this the beginning of the end for Flash.

My hatred for Flash started in '97. This news is years too late for me, haha.

It's funny how much can happen before HTML5 is even a standard...
I don't think many users (that knew what the slow bloated part of the website was) will be missing Flash, but we could do with an adequate replacement first.

HTML 5 is a draft standard, which is more than what I can say about Flash.

Most modern web coders are starting to implement HTML5 into their designs, with graceful degradation. HTML5 + Javascript are going to be replacing many elements of Flash.
