My wife and I regularly take drives and hikes along the Gorge, Silvers falls state park, and in the Mt Hood Natl Forrest east of Estacada. (check it out on Google earth) along with drives up and down hwy101 on the coast. there is no more beautiful area in the country.

Those time-lapses showing the movement of the Earth in relation to the stars is awe-inspiring. I friggin hate to my very core the light scatter we have around here. To think that all that could be broken down into pieces not visible to the naked eye gets my creative juices flowing :)

Time-lapse with a moving camera? Wow I'd like to see how they mounted and controlled the camera to pull that off...

Grendel, wonderful video. It does remind me why I love Oregon so much. Spectacular scenery, at least when it's not foggy or rainy and hiding the view. Kind of like this week's persistent valley fog's been doing. Buuuuuuuuuuuut, I'm not griping. It's December, it could be worse.

I had the option of living here with my Wife's Family. or in Florida with my Family. I made the right choice. this is God's country up here. We are always finding some new and spectacular scenery to look at. it never get's boring

Nothing new (motion controlled camera setup), check out Baraka for some real amazing rotating star fields (final chapter, the rest of that film is pretty good too ! ;))

Here's some behind the scenes for "Finding Oregon".

That was beautiful, thanks for posting Gren.

On the subject of beautiful videos shot outdoors, this one sends the deepest of chills up my back every time I see it, ...and I don't even surf! :)

The scenery here reminds me of my old home town of Albany WA.

...and the writing reminds me of the sheer joy I get simply breathing in and out.
