He (was) a pinball wizard....

Post by Gekko71 »

Very sad news - Steve Kordek, the father of pinball has passed away aged 100. Inventor of the drop-target and multi-ball amongst many other innovations.

I still yearn for my own pinball table - alas I don't have the room nor the readies right now...

Great Shame. Any one else here a pinball fan?
I used to like memes, but then I was Rick-rolled while taking over 9000 arrows to the knee like a boss from Chuck Norris.

Heck yeah. My uncle now has this exact one that my grand parents held. As a kid my whole family, in groups of four, would play this.

I can perfectly remember all the noises this thing would make.

I never realized how much there was to pinball, until I met a coworker who plays competitively.

I wish foosball would make a comeback. I remember back in the late 80's early 90's foosball was huge here. We had a gameroom in our 1250 hick town and about 40 of us made it to it every night. :P Nuff said. There was one foosball table and the winner kept it >: ). Great fun. The feeling I get from Descent almost, just almost hits the feeling you get from a quick reversal and a score on the corner from the goal. Loved it.

Ever since I was a young boy, I've played the silver ball.
