Ninja Turtles are mutants, NOT aliens!!! As I recall from the original Ninja Turtles they were little baby turtles until they touch some radioactive goo, they mutate into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that we know. It's been a while since I saw the original Ninja Turtles. 20 Years ago there were Live Action Ninja Turtles movies!!!!

Seriously, I was motioning this today to someone and it dawned on me how badly Michael Bay was screwing up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
THEY'RE MUTANT TURTLES!!!!!!!! NOT ALIEN TURTLES!!!!

What MB should have said:

“I’m not going to do anything big with the series… I just plan to make a whole trilogy completely focusing on Krang’s take over and downfall on earth. Movie one, he will come from dimension X. Movie two , turtles go to Kreings home planet, like in the comic. And movie three, the turtles come back to Earth with help and Technodrome is destroyed.”

Personally, I kind of agree with his comments. Why are we getting worked up over this? It's Michael Bay. He's the stereotypical big-shot movie director. This is how he thinks he can make his movies. By changing whatever parts of the story, no matter how crucial to the source material, to set up a climactic space battle, lingering boob shot, or awkward joke.

On the plus side, this may turn out like what happened with the Incredible Hulk films. The first one sucked, which gave the next film's director incentive to make HIS Hulk film kick ass. I hope this is what happens with TMNT after MB's film.
