D1 MP level meanings (revised)

Post by Sapphire Wolf »

I've revised some of the meanings of each level within D1's Total Chaos MP mission (since I don't want to bump the errored meanings version)
1. Mount Slagel = generic mountain name (I guess)
2. Jalapeno = Spicy Vegetable (e.g. for making salsa)
3. Death From Above = a technique that you jump and land on your opponent or a kill from above.
4.EDIT: The Southern Cross =
TopGun's correction wrote:a specific constellation visible from the Southern Hemisphere.
5. Bushwacker's Paradise = a paradise for a someone who spends time in the bush (Australian ("That's how we do it in the bush!" :P ) or (sarcastically) a paradise for a 55 ton battlemech from the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe :P (the Bushwacker 'mech debuted in the 1994 Battletech rulebook, "Battletech Compendium: The Rules of Warfare")

Technically the Southern Cross is a specific constellation visible from the Southern Hemisphere.

EDIT: fixed
I had a slight brain fart with the definition of "Southern Cross"

...you know. Those names... make me wonder if one of the D1 level designers was a Battletech fan. Two possible references. Only possible, though - could be a mere coincidence.
