Ok, as mentioned in another thread, I am working on a security camera installation and I need to come up with an affordable solution to multiple camera installs. Some of these installs may run up to 1000ft. So, from what the manufacturer claims, you can use RG-6 siamese cable and use BNC connectors. I have looked on Newegg and Amazon.
This seems to be the closest I've found:
Anyone know of some other nice on-line shops to look for cable like this and does anyone know where I can find it for any lower price? Trying to keep things down for the contractor but if I can't find it for cheaper, I'm sure he will be fine with it.
For those who don't know, what I mean by siamese is that you have power and RG-6 combined in the same cable and they are both shielded.
Looking for 1000' rolls of RG-6 siamese.

Are you wanting two coax's or a coax and a (single)twisted pair for powering?
Are you going to be running through any airways used for cold-air return, or going through any firebreaks? Because if so, you'll need plenum cable and fire caulk, which drive up cost.
You might talk to the plant manager of your local cable system, they might be able to get it for you cheaper if they buy from a co-op, and it'll be a better quality cable, most places use either commscope or times-fiber cables.
Make sure you use the *correct* fittings for the cable.

Use Belden, all copper, worth every penny. The following link is a great guide;

Use a quality compression fitting and tool;
This Tool is one of the 5 compression tools I own... and its one of the cheaper ones. My "F" connect compression tool was $75.00 alone;

This tool is the same style as what I have but mine is 15 years older and uglier;

Dream to use and gives the best connections.
Oh and shop for this cable if your going 1000 feet;

Belden cable has 6db more loss in it at 1000mhz than commscope cable does. All copper ain't all its cracked up to be, I know this from experience. But if you're using this for security cams, you're not doing anything above 50mhz anyway, usually.
Some of your runs will be 1000ft? How are you getting there, is this through a building or is this outdoors?
