I couldn't log in. I thought I had been banned.

I was thinking, "Nooo!! I'll never talk about dwarf fortress again! I'm sorry!"

I just had typed my password wrong a bunch of time

An admin may correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe when you're banned you can still sign in--you just have restricted functionality after that.

Any system I've ever been a part of would notify banned people that they are banned.

Failing silently seems like a good way to get banned people to waste bandwidth as they keep trying to log in.

Description:
User's keyboard turned at an angle causes fingers to miss the intended keys.

Solution:
Straighten keyboard, to align with torso, or align torso to keyboard.
