My wife is looking for a tablet and I was wondering about the pros and cons of the differences of android vs apples iOS.

I have been shying away from apple products for so long but every review seems titled to their Tablets. Little help please?

The newest iPad has an awesome screen that is unrivaled by any other current tablet. Otherwise its got all the same problems and advantages of other apple devices. You are pretty much locked into a walled garden controlled by apple, meaning apple has as much control of the device as you have. Which can be an advantage or a problem depending on who is using it.

full featured and ease of operation..... iPad

if she uses an iPhone or MAC - iPad

if she wants to hack your neighbors wifi - Android tablet

you may wait for surface tablets and have a 3rd choice

I too was looking at tablets but all I need is a usb port and the abilty to view pdf cad drawings and stored photos off a flash drive.
