Hey, my modem/router's hot enough temp wise to warrant putting flame decals on it.

Its nonsense, a proper cat5e cable that is manufactured to spec will carry gigabit ethernet with no significant loss, and that is easily 150 times faster than the average connection in the US. You can't make your internet faster by making the ethernet faster, the bottleneck is your DSL/Cable throttle done by the ISP.

Think about it. He's gotten millions of views by making outlandish claims ("double your ethernet speed by twisting wires around!", "double your wifi speed by using a whisk on the antenna!") with a straight face. Ha.

I actually laughed while I was watching this. It looks like this guy is trying to monetize his youtube account by making all kinds of crazy crap up about stuff that people commonly get frustrated with in order to get page views.

Come on, taping two cables together? That's the same grade of logic as saying if a woman dyes her hair green while she's pregnant, her kid will have green hair.

I thought this guy might be a real MacGuyver, but I kept waiting to see where the rocket motor appeared, and I was ultimately disappointed.
