You know, we could use magic carpets as an alternative hovercraft, but they're a bit rugged.

That is pretty cool, but what I want to know is what happens when you're slipping along a 80 mph and you have to do a sudden avoidance maneuver? Hovercraft aren't very steering responsive at high speed.
