VPN or something for staying private at a hotel
VPN or something for staying private at a hotel
I'm going to spend a few days in a hotel. Is there a program I can use to go "stealth" on the net?
Re: VPN or something for staying private at a hotel
well, there are VPN's.
but this sounds like a question that has been asked before.

Got it thanks.

Well it looks like I would need a VPN "service". Guess I won't worry about it an just stay off of important sites like my bank....

Not that VPN services are really that expensive ($3/mo), but you could always set up one from your own house and tunnel in to that.
Re: VPN or something for staying private at a hotel
Any sites that would explain how to do that? So anything from the hotel to my home computer would be "masked" (not able to be seen by the hotel)?
Re: VPN or something for staying private at a hotel
I think the best solutions for a home VPN are in router firmware such as dd-wrt.
