a cosplay convention is basically a huge dressup party/convention. generally ppl dressup/makeup as some anime/manga character and show up.

Although, the streetfighter ones aren't badly done in the slightest. Except for the vega one of course.

Simply because they look very hot in those outfits, and their boyfriends are drooling over them as we speak

P.S. As implied (or maybe not?) by "girlfriends," I was leaning toward the male members of the photo
