I think it's becoming harder and harder for apologists for islam to explain the instances of violence by muslims expressing their faith in these gruesome ways:

The gruesome murder yesterday of a soldier outside London by a Muslim convert, Michael Adebolajo, brings to mind that throat slitting and beheading are Islamically sanctioned forms of execution. Although these occur particularly often in the course of family-related crimes – think, for example, of the case of Aasiya Hassan in suburban Buffalo, N.Y., killed by her husband in 2009, stabbed with two hunting knives more than forty times in the face, back and chest, then beheaded – this monstrous form of violence is also used in non-family instances
These ARE 'acts of faith' in the eyes of many muslims. Why is it so hard for people in the West to recognize that they might be attacked simply because they aren't muslim? Or even the "right kind" of muslim? Or perhaps for offending islam or 'islamic law?'
Unreformed islam will never coexist with others peacefully.

TRIPOLI, Lebanon (Reuters) - A Syrian-born Islamist cleric who taught one of the attackers accused of hacking to death an off-duty British soldier on a London street praised the attack for its "courage" and said Muslims would see it as a strike on a military target.
In an interview in Tripoli, northern Lebanon, where he has lived since being banished from Britain in 2005, Omar Bakri, founder of banned British Islamist group Al Muhajiroun, told Reuters he knew suspect Michael Abebolajo from a decade ago.
"When I saw the footage I recognized the face immediately," Bakri told Reuters. "I used to know him. A quiet man, very shy, asking lots of questions about Islam."
"What surprised me (is) the quiet man, the man who is very shy, decided to carry out an attack against a British soldier in the middle of the day in the middle of a street in the UK. In east London. It's incredible.
"When I saw that, honestly I was very surprised - standing firm, courageous, brave. Not running away. Rather, he said why he carried (it out) and he wanted the whole world to hear it."
The guy in the picture is Nigerian decent but British born. He was radicalized in 2003. He spoke about how he was doing it for atrocities committed against muslims in "our lands"...
So even though he isn't from there, which ever 'there' he is fantasizing about, he has assumed the identity of angry Muslim.
The threat isn't Islam, it is wannabe holy warriors using the Islam excuse.
That is what al Queda was founded on. That beheading and the world trade centers coming down in 2001 are identical in many ways.

How do you kill a Hydra that keeps regenerating? You can't. Obama said in his speech yesterday that the war on Al Qaida needs to come to an end. I don't think the other side sees it that way though. They'd hate us even if we tried to leave them alone and removed our presence from every Muslim nation on earth. Wasn't that Bin Laden's little diatribe at first? He's send his minions to attack us UNTIL we remove our military presence from those 2 Saudi Holy cities, Medina and Mecca? Bush did just that during the Iraq War and ol' Bin Laden still wasn't happy about the gift we gave him.
