Hey, I try to make an appearence every 6 months or so just to make sure they don't delete my account. If I ever get DSL/Cable I'll start playing again. Sometimes it really sucks living on a military base...

wow, on a mil base and stuck with dial up......ROTF you would piss your pants if you got to use what the base uses

I don't actually live on post, but rather on former Fort Ord. The active post is now on the Presidio of Monterey about 15 miles from Fort Ord. Nowadays, Fort Ord is strictly for housing, and it's not even owned by the military anymore. The company that recently bought the land/houses etc. is telling everyone that in a year they're going to be installing a wireless internet, but by the time that happens I'll have PCSed out of here.

But yeah, I would kill to have the connection that the Presidio has.
