Of course adolescents experiment. The hormones are raging. But homosexual sex is one of those things that most true hetero males would have an innate disgust reaction against. I doubt they'd even try it. If any boy experiments with that, he is probably either bi or gay in the first place. Some dirty old man going after boys isn't going to create a boy gay or something. Sheesh! It's not a choice.

One can get syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, Chlamydia, HIV and HPV from saliva. Not as likely, but it happens. Even heterosexual oral sex is dangerous. Just ask Michael Douglas.

Here's the thing, though: just because a pre-teen or teen experiments with someone of the same sex, which probably happens more than any of us would guess, doesn't mean they're homosexual/bisexual. We know that human sexuality is far more of a continuous spectrum than a simple toggle-switch, and a couple of friends fooling around as kids doesn't have much bearing on their actual orientation.

Regarding increasing LGBT support among corporations.
Corporations are employers of people, and some people are gay. We'd want to maintain a safe, supportive and friendly work environment for our employees.
There's also the PR angle, we want to portray a welcoming image to our customers.

But mainly, I wouldn't employ someone with outspoken homophobic views, as if our employees have a hostile work environment - productivity suffers and staff turnover increases.

From what i can gather: Youtube acknowledged that the day was an internationally recognized LGBT-related day (Stonewall riots anniversary?) , but they didn't accompany this acknowledgement with a disclaimer that they share OP's vile hatred, and thus this angered OP.

I agree that disgust does not always lead to hate. However, disgust tends to do exactly what you say about putting people into boxes, especially where homosexuality is concerned. Homosexuals become "those disgusting people" and they get put into a special box that hides their human value and the fact they love their partners just like anyone else loves their significant other. The disgust might not lead to hate, but is often accompanied by pity and a kind of superiority complex. That complex in group form is what leads to oppression -- real oppression as seen in ultra-religious Africa where Christians and Muslims alike torture and kill homosexuals on a regular basis -- all with the gleaming approval of the government. Unfortunately, most people don't take the time to challenge things that are distasteful by looking inward for the cause of that disgust. If they did we would have a more compassionate society.

sigma, I've got news for you. You probably talk to them all the time and don't even realize it. You may even know a few and not realize it either. Not all gays set off people's gaydar.
