I don't for the life of me remember how to get my Ipad to print on networked printer without airprint capabilities. I know it's possible I had done it once before.

I use both an older hp and two brother printers that are networked

Both companies use their own app that feature a copy from clip-board function to print

Newer printers support the air print feature

FingerPrint 2. Works great, but have to have a system running on the network to facilitate it.

I have gone through at least 10 different "paid apps" (for free using the above site when available) and still they all rely on "air print" ... Definitely not going to spend 19.99 for an app that is untested...

Only app that I keep in my collection that is an oddity in terms of function is "InstaWeb" which converts web pages into PDF's for later printing or reading through my own apps

I will post my list later of apps that do not work without air print

Right now I'm using Google Cloud Print it works well enough for most things.
